DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 3" wall hanging clock with a weight driven, 8 day, timepiece movement with a dead-beat escapement and maintaining power in a walnut case.
CONDITION: The walnut veneer on the top door, the bottom door and the top part of the base has been removed and the base wood stained and finished to closely match the color of the walnut veneer. The original dial has been repainted. The hands are original, but the seconds hand is replaced. The movement is signed. The upper glass is original. The lower glass is replaced. The nickel clad weight has nicely knurled top and bottom. The nickel pendulum bob is nicely damascened
